Rite of Passage Ceremonies

Milestones such as puberty, marriage, motherhood, separation & menopause & the inner lessons they present us with were traditionally honoured within the Red Tent or Moon Lodge & hosted by a ceremonial priestess or wise woman.

Rite of Passage Ceremonies Facilitators:

Callinthe 

Location: Mill Park, Melbourne

Callinthe has been a student of spirituality for over 13 years, combining her background in contemporary belief systems with her ever unfolding journey to rediscover ancient spiritual truths. A clairvoyant medium, Callinthe adores helping others to find healing and growth through spirituality. She is devoted to encouraging the world to rediscover balance, by honoring the divine feminine through the teaching of womens' mysteries.  
 
Callinthe has studied the mysteries of the Tarot and holds a Remedial Diploma of Massage Therapy. She specialises in cupping, Oriental massage and reflexology, and holds a Reiki level 1 certification. Callinthe believes in the power of touch to heal both physical and emotional blockages.  
 
Callinthe also honours the healing power of bellydancing and takes a spiritual approach to this art form, whether through teaching or performance. This dance is inspiring countless women to find their inner goddess, just as it did in the fertility temples of the ancient world, thousands of years ago. Callinthe teaches and performs in a wide variety of styles and encourages the incorporation of bellydance into whichever rite of passage you may be celebrating.

Michelle Fisher

Location: Warburton, Vic

Michelle is a mother of four & works as a Massage Therapist at the Lotus Rooms in Warburton.  Her interests (at the moment) are permaculture / biodynamics & the quest to make the perfect compost heap.  Michelle is also passionate about community living & the integral role women play in creating nurturing & sustainable communities. She co- runs red tent new moon circles. 

Michelle is excited to announce she will be running Menarche ceremonies from 2010. Like many young girls her first education on menstruation was taught secretly by other 9 years olds. When she finally got her first period she was handed a slab of white padding and a piece of elastic with hooks on the end. (to this day she still doesn’t know how you wear this) 

Michelle believes that our daughter’s journey from girls to young women is too important to be left to the education department and MTV. Our fledging maidens need to be embraced by the collective bosom of the village mothers and wise women to really learn that her cycle is not a shameful secret but an honour and a cause for celebration.  

Of course what better way to prepare for our daughters menarche ceremony than have your own belated rite of passage. Gather a group of your friends together and explore and celebrate your own feminine gifts with story, ceremony and reverence.

There is nothing stronger than the bond between women who share the rite of passage knowledge. And there is nothing more humbling than to be a facilitator for these rites, to be the guiding hand that helps foster the connection, or reconnection, between you and the Universal Spirit. It is an honour that holds no equal.
Nicole is a mother of 3 beautiful and very individual children, a Marriage Celebrant, Pagan Priestess and Trainee Florist. She has experienced many transformation times, realizing as she has grown in her own path through them. Cycles continue throughout life, Life really is a journey not just a destination. From Birth all the way through to Death there is so much that can be shared with others; laughing, crying, grieving, celebrating, recognizing and appreciating not only the event, but also the person experiencing that event.
Nicole’s warm and friendly style brings a nurturing guidance to circle work.
No question is foolish, no experience is meaningless.
