Women's Mysteries

In 1996 Tanishka left a fledgling career as a stand-up commedienne & was initiated into the feminine mysteries, spending a year long vision quest in the Otway Ranges, after which she returned to pioneer a unique series of ‘Awaken Goddess'TM  feminine archetype seminars & channelled readings.

She then spent 12 years exclusively as a priestess serving the Divine Feminine, (first as the founder of Woven Women & later, Star of Ishtar) facilitating women's gatherings such as Full Moon Circles & pioneering various rite of passage ceremonies & gatherings such as Goddess Hen's nights, Belly Blessing Baby Showers, Budding Maiden Ceremonies & Elderwoman Ceremonies in her hometown of Melbourne. During this time she also worked as a sacred temple dancer in various arenas, including initiating couples in Tantric Wedding Ceremonies.  She also worked for two & a half years as a Faery initiating children through their rites of passage with a combination of play & mysticism. In 2003 she was blessed with a beautiful daughter who is now 6 years old!

Her work is distinguished by her depth of personal experience & esoteric understanding, having created & conducted an annual kundalini yoga journey awakening the divine feminine or shakti in priestesses through a nine month series of transformational initiations.  She has also facilitated a wide range of short courses & seminars including Retreats,Tantra for Women, Dance Meditations & Community Events celebrating Seasonal & Astrological shifts.

In 2006 she created & unveiled the Star of Ishtar range of essences, oils & elixirs to assist her initiate priestesses.  These are now available both in selected retail outlets & she is currently training holistic practitioners to incorporate these with their various modalities.  They are also available in the Star of Ishtar online shop.

Her first book, ‘The Inner Goddess Makeover' was released June 2007 & is available via the Star of Ishtar online shop & in bookstores nationally.  Tanishka has been a guest speaker at the Australian Goddess Conference, Mind, Body, Spirit Festival & writes for various national magazines.

In 2008 she heeded an inner calling to train other women to facilitate Women's Mysteries which she sees as intrinsic to the balancing & consecration of our planet, Mother Earth & her children. She continues to run annual Facilitator Training Courses for those called to facilitate Red Tent New Moon Women's Circles, Rite of Passage Ceremonies & Initiate Priestess Courses.

Tanishka is available for private Women's Mysteries sessions & channelled Feminine Archetypal Chart readings in her hometown of Melbourne & by phone for interstate / international clients. She is also creating a new range of books & products which will be released in the near future.

In 2010 she will be launching a global project called, 'Operation: Red Tent' to gather the women worldwide in circles to reconsecrate & empower the feminine through the reclamation of the moonlodge tradition. For further details subscribe to the eclub on the homepage!

Sacred Union

In 2008, she intuited it was time to extend her Full Moon gatherings to men as well as women, disseminating the ancient teachings of the Holy Grail by journeying experientially around the astrological mandala working with masculine & feminine archetypal counterparts including as the Christ & the Magdalene to assist in anchoring the new consciousness of Sacred Union upon the planet.

She plans to extend her teacher training modules to men to assist the brotherhood in the reclamation of their birthrites & to assist in healing the gender war both internally & externally by honouring the need for separate sacred gatherings for both brotherhood & sisterhood communities so we may each gain a strong, whole & healed sense of selfhood to better prepare us for intimacy with our opposite which in turn will support families & wider communities, ultimately balancing East & West in the global arena.  She sees this as a necessity as we approach the shift in consciousness in 2012. 

In 2009 she facilitated the second installment of Sacred Union teachings by facilitating sacred ceremonies around the Solar Wheel in 2009 for men & women to channel & share collective insights in accordance with the quickening frequency of Mother Earth as we approach the end of the Mayan Calendar.

In 2010 Tanishka began initiating couples into the tradition of the Hieros Gamos (Sacred Union) by working privately as a Tantrika assisting deeper emotional & psychological intimacy, promoting soul to soul communion through cyclic practises & transformative processes. This the third & final cycle to complete the body of work that is her next book, 'Sacred Union' which will be released in 2011. Her latest vibrational essence, Sacred Union' created on the 11:11:11 will also be released in the near future on her online shop.

Christine was one of the first Ipsalu Tantric teachers in Australia.  Since completing her training, she has assisted many people on the spiritual path of tantra enhancing their belief in self and hence balance in their life. Christine is passionate about women realising their grace and power to facilitate change in this world and leads women to realise this beauty and potential through short tantric courses with ongoing support.  Facilitating the open space of the Red Tent Circles in Macclesfield, where all women, mothers, daughters and grandmothers, are encouraged to participate, enhances Christine's ability to provide a beautiful space in which to encourage the sharing of knowledge and understanding among the generations.
In conjunction with her tantric and Red Tent circle work Christine runs a busy Herb and Massage center in Monbulk providing health assistance to both people and animals to ensure physical and spiritual health is maintained for all.
Having taught in many areas over the years, Christine's teaching style is one of guidance and offering from the heart. Christine's students benefit from her honesty based on a belief that there is no ownership of knowledge, hence knowledge gained is knowledge to be shared. 

Red Tent Women's Circles Facilitator: Catherine

Catherine is a Homeopath, and mother of four boys. For some time it has concerned her that so many of the women who come through her practice are living a life of imbalance, unsupported within their environment. She offers the Red Tent Ceremonies to these, and all women, as the means of gaining empowerment through the divine feminine energy to help restore the balance in their lives and nurture their personal spiritual growth.

The Ceremony nurtures and supports women within the group, so they are able to recognize their true selves while at the same time receiving insights into their unique qualities and abilities. This provides them with strengths and tools to use in their daily lives.

Catherine uses Astrology within her work to give personal insights but through the Red Tent Ceremony she is able to also offer the blessing of a beautiful, nurturing and loving community of women willing to listen, share and support, something that is often missing in our modern society.

Sometimes all women need is for somebody else to actually ‘hear their voice’ and here they are both heard and healed.

Red Tent Facilitator: Mina Hunt

The first time Mina sat in circle she felt she had “come home”. “Every woman needs to feel this experience where nothing needs to be fixed; where I am perfect in this moment, This is a Red Tent Moment,”explains Mina, “and this is experience I want to share”. The veritable “jack of all trades” having done everything from being an ordained minister of religion to a tour guide in a butterfly sanctuary, Mina holds a Diploma in Marketing and currently runs a successful marketing company – Go Girl Enterprises which last year achieved over $25million in sales in six months for a start up company she contracts to. Her passion and delight is “web weaving”, networking for the Goddess and taking the message of the Goddess to mainstream society.  She is an initiated Priestess of Goddess and lives to serve.
